UUCE Sunday services usually follow the following format:

  • Lighting of the Chalice
  • Hymn
  • Responsive Reading
  • Sharing of Joys & Sorrows
  • Offering
  • Story for all ages (children leave for religious education after story, about 5 minutes)
  • Responsive Reading
  • Musical Interlude
  • Message
  • Hymn
  • Congregation Discussion
  • Extinguishing of the Chalice
